Bringing Ancient Mesopotamia to Life

In 6th grade Social Studies, students learned about how early humans developed over time and how ancient civilizations made sense of the world. After studying Mesopotamian polytheism, they created their own gods and goddesses inspired by what they learned.

Students showed creativity and strong understanding of how ancient cultures used mythology to explain life around them.
