Lunchtime Book Clubs Bring Sixth Graders Together

Sixth grade students from Mrs. Kochen’s and Mrs. Greer’s ELA classes meet twice a week during lunch to read, share ideas, and discuss books in a relaxed setting. The book clubs encourage a love of reading while helping students build connections, collaboration skills, and a strong sense of community.

Supporting Student Futures: Calendar Raffle for the DY Scholarship Fund

The Dennis–Yarmouth Scholarship Fund is proud to host its annual Calendar Raffle to support local students as they pursue higher education. For more than 15 years, the fund has provided financial assistance to over 40 students, made possible through the generosity of our school community and local partners.

We are currently seeking donations of gift certificates, monetary contributions, or physical items to be used as raffle prizes. These contributions are essential to the success of the raffle and directly support future scholarship awards. If you own a business, know a local restaurant, or have a handmade item or service you would be willing to donate, your support would be greatly appreciated.

Donations help ensure this important program can continue to serve students for years to come. Questions can be directed to Regina Wood at woodr@dy-regional.k12.ma.us
